Life is more or less the same as it has been for the past few weeks. We've made some progress on the kitchen renovations, including a new sink and countertops, and the appliances should be going back in there today or very soon. Work is going alright. I've still only sold one credit card, but I keep trying. I'm good at the upselling, getting people to add on a jacket or a necklace or a new bra to their purchase, and at organizing and arranging merchandise. After much pushing from Mary, I finally saw How to Train Your Dragon. We had my nephew over on Friday and I took him to see it at the dollar theater. For me, summer has always meant the annual Cleaning of the Room. Except for showers and meal breaks and occasional errand-running with mom, we do nothing but clean our bedrooms until dad gets home from work in the afternoon. It hasn't been so bad this year.
